Botavina Herbs: a premium brand's first storefront, built around what it couldn't say
Botavina had a real product and nowhere to sell it. No site meant no customers, no matter how good the oil was.

The challenge
Botavina was launching its first product, a Premium Hair Thickening Oil, with no website at all. The brand needed a full storefront from zero, and it had to look mid-premium right away, not like a new company still finding its footing.
The approach
I pulled the entire design system straight from the product packaging: palette, typography, and the botanical patterns on the bottle. The site reads as an extension of the product instead of a template with the brand's colors dropped in. Built on WordPress with Elementor Pro, it was fast to launch and easy for the client to run herself after handoff. I wrote every page of copy myself, so the brand story and the product description pull in the same direction instead of copy feeling bolted on afterward.
The tradeoff
The hardest constraint wasn't design, it was language. US market rules meant Botavina couldn't claim the product promotes hair growth, which is a regulated claim. Every headline and product description had to sell hair thickening instead, a smaller, less dramatic promise to build a premium brand around. Rather than hedge around the restriction with vague marketing language, I built the whole voice around precision: say exactly what the product does, with enough confidence that the restraint reads as intentional, not watered down.
The result
No hard traffic numbers yet, as the site just launched. The clearest signal is what happened after: the client came back for three more identity projects (ConfiHealthFit, Fit & Fun, and her own personal brand).
